We are pleased to confirm the signing of Steve “InJect” Honan to our Counterstrike: Global Offensive (CSGO) roster.
Following the recent breakup of AVANT GAMING, InJect was promptly signed to Lucky7Gaming. Steve “InJect” Honan will be stepping into the shoes of Andrew “ino” Foster, recently released from the roster due to incompatibilities with team playstyle.
Inject has been part of AVANT GAMING since June 2017 where he held a 1.05 HLTV.org rating. During his time with the team, he achieved a 2nd place finish at ESL ANZ Season 2 LAN and 5th in the Cybergamer Professional League 2017.
Here's what Will “animus” Turner, the team’s In-Game Leader and previous teammate of “InJect” had to say :
"The whole team is really excited to have him on board. He is an experienced player and has a feared awp in the Australian scene, and we know this firepower will form a strong pillar in our team. We wanted to acquire him firstly due to his love and commitment to the game, and secondly due to his skill. We expect him to assimilate very smoothly over the next couple of weeks."
With an "InJection" of firepower, the team will be working hard over the coming weeks as they prepare to qualify for the Australian Esports Masters National LAN and to finish out the ESEA Open 2017 Season.
